The 52-year-old former detective is awaiting trial at a New York federal court house Friday. Kerik had 14 charges leveled against him ranging from accepting bribes and blocking an FBI investigation to withholding information from the federal government. The bribery charges against the ex-police officer, who had also been business partners with Giuliani, include him allegedly taking USD 160,000 in kickbacks from a reportedly mafia-related construction firm.
